♥ Petite is the New Pink

Currently watching America's Next Top Model Cycle 13! Whee~ Loveee watching ANTM! All the dramas, catfights, getting pretty, and forever long legs!!! *jealous*

Watching the show really made me ENVY those girls a lot.. One thing was obviously their height.. Such long, skinny, and beautiful legs.. Whenever I'm out with Alwinyu and I see a very tall girl I will make jealous remarks like, "OMG look at that girl's legs!! So tall and thin!! Why she can't give me some! Abit also I'm happy....." ): Then he will start saying those legs are ugly cos they look like stick. wtf.

The thing is I don' think I'm even 5 feet tall omg omg.

OK skip my sad and short stories.. but on a happier note, ANTM Cycle 13 only requires girls who are 5'7" and under to become their contestants for Cycle 13! To me, 5'7" is already very tall.. Imagine ANTM are always looking for models 5'7" and above! That's like KL Tower for me.

To me they are tall. But to Tyra Banks and the rest of the judges, its petite. wtf. So I'm guessing they call girls who are 5 feet and under, midgets. whatthefuck.

And the winner for this cycle is going to join the Wilhelmina Models instead of the usual Elite models because Wilhelmina accepts petite models..

For this season, I'm going to support... Nicole! In the first two episodes she is so funny! Not because she is funny, but she is funny to watch! She's like this very weird girl.. More like lagging.. Behind time.. She looks like she is daydreaming all the time.. But as every episode goes by, she talks more and I'm starting to suka dia..

She takes nice photos too!

In this photo above, their task was to look taller than 5'7" and even the judge Nigel Barker said she looks taller than him in this photo! Another photo I really like in that bunch is....

Her name is Erin.. Before the makeover her hair was brown/red and they bleached blonde on her hair and eye brows!! Tyra Banks said it gives her the intense look..

"Boringly beautiful!"-Nigel Barker on Erin's photo..

Now I'm still on Episode 4!

Cannot wait for Episode 5 and every other episodes to see who is Amedika's Next Top Model!

ILOVEANTM. xoxo.

p.s: Nowadays whenever I log in Facebook, I see sad and depressing status updates from my friends. Why? I can't wait for September to end. Wake me up when September ends.

oh wait. it's tomorrow.

p.p.s: Met kb and the rest of the gang yesterday. Last yum cha session with mr kb till he comes back from UK.. Though I don't always meet him and Yenni, but i'm still gonna miss them.. but i'm sure they will have the time of their life in NEWCASTLE.. hahaha till we meet again! (:

♥ Make Me Up

I have lots of make up stuff that I don't use at all..... and they are all birthday presents for me! So wasted!

I should really start using them, but.... I don't know how to use them! -.-"

If you would ask me to put make up and go out with you, you'll end up going out with a clown...

And another reason why I will never learn how to apply make up is because I know I will be too lazy to apply even if I already learn how to..

I am those people who will wake up ten minutes before class if I can and can-get-ready-in-15-minutes when you call me out like RIGHT NOW.. provided I took a bath already hehe

and, and, and...

another reason why I don't really feel like putting make up is because.....................

I look like a Malay girl............

No offence to the Malays but.. I really LOOK even more like a Malay....

No thanks to my 'born with tan skin'. and I strongly believe I look abit like one of my college mate, Azzy, in this picture when there is abit of eyeliner on my eyes. hmmm.

I still remember when I was in Standard One in ss14 primary school, being a newbie in school I kept quiet most of the time.. When the teachers had to divide the class to Moral class and the Agama class, the teacher straight pull me out to line up with the rest of the Malay students to go next door class for Agama..... fml.

I obviously followed only. Luckily the Agama teacher was calling out names and she saw my name had no Siti or Fatimah, but a Jade Yan. She asked me whether I was Chinese or Malay. Then I cannot remember what happen anymore.. It was just too sad to remember it. wtf

My mum thought it was the funniest joke ever, she would tell everyone and anyone we met about the "Going to Agama Class Joke" when anyone mistaken me as a Malay girl.

Every year during puasa months, I encountered many random aunties asking me why am I not puasa-ing..

I remember when I was younger, I hang around at my mum's office during the weekends cos she had work to do.. There was this one time, my mum asked me to go down myself to the canteen to grab a bite.. When I was buying the karipap, the Karipap Aunty asked me, "Why are you eating!?" Then I just told her, "Hungry lah..." She gave me a good ten minutes lecture why I shouldn't eat during puasa month........ Luckily my mum came down just in time to explain to her that I'm her daughter.

I don't even look like my mum. She's like fair. and I am.... sigh. Well, my dad's tan. So the doctor did not gave my mum the wrong baby.. haha who knows I might actually belong a a Malay family?

I guess I have to just accept this tan skin of mine.

♥ Tokyo vs Piccadilly

One is in Japan, and the other is in London.

On two separate days, I had lunch in Tokyo-G (One U) and the other one in Piccadillys (PJ).

Two major differences. Not only in locations but the food!

Tokyo-G's food totally sucks! or maybe it is just not my flava. And so expensiveee! Yea, their deco is nice with green colour theme but the food? No green light. I remember eating in Tokyo-G ( formerly known as Sushi Groove) with Christie and Vincent in Pyramid, but it was wayyy much better then. What happen now?

This is some beef soba.. Taste like any other beef soba in any Japanese restaurants because standard one right? It's all in packets you can buy from Giant or Carrefour..

OK. This one was horrible! What was I thinking ordering Italian food in a Japanese restaurant.... but the "mussels" word in the menu was calling out for me! So I ordered... and fml it was smelly too... The mussels was good but the sauce for the spaghetti was S.M.E.L.L.Y......

Look at his piercing eyes pissed face. haha

from today onwards, I will only enter Sushi Zanmai period
Now fly to Piccadillys!
Although it sounds glamorous cos it's name after some London street, it's only just a mamak in PJ. But not any ordinary mamak! They have all kinds of food! From local to Thai to Western to Japanese to Italian to wherever or whatever you wanna eat, they have it! and most importantly, its cheap, cheap, cheap! and yummy, yummy, yummy!
Nice environment too!
This is my Fettuccine Carbonara with Turkey Ham.. YUMMY!

They have alot of Mango desserts too! I even ordered two desserts haha one is Ice Mango and the other is Peach Banana Split!

Thank you boss for bringing me to eat a good and yummy lunch!
Recently I felt like I've been blogging too much about what I eat.. well, I guess we live to eat, not eat to live.. (:
You know you love to eat! xoxo!

♥ Four Occasions

Last two weeks I had pizza date with Claire Bear.. hehe

We tried the new Pizza Hut outlet in Taipan.. Deco was simple and nice but the staff are weird... I was there first before Claire, so I went in to get seats and it was full house!

I told the waiter A, "Table for two please.." He nod his head and gave me a hand sign to follow him.. So I follow him and he conveniently walk to the counter to arrange the knives and spoons!! Like he totally forgotten about me! Hello~ you're suppose to show me to the table!

There I was. Standing in the middle of nowhere in the restaurant and I can feel many pairs of eyes are looking at me.. wtf. No empty tables for me to sit! So I showed my emo face and walk back to the entrance.. Then the another waiter sort of scold the waiter A and ask him to serve me.. Waiter A called me again and showed me an empty table now.. ish.

...

We had pepperoni pizza..

I must be damn boring.. See.. Keep on sms only.. or maybe she pretending to sms cos she don't want to listen to my bullcrap haha

Claire says she loves Blur Photos.. erm, so here's a blur one.. haha

Had fun bergossip-gossip about high school times and friends.. hehe

.................................................................................

Last two weeks (same week), I went for Meatball lunchie with Monnie.. We just love their balls! Ikea balls!

We also bergossip-gossip.. I think that's just how girls are.. We are born to do it..

.................................................................................

I can't remember when did this happen but one day, my brother and I went to McDonald's Drive Thru for sundaes.. We happily ordered, happily drove home, happily opening the plastics to eat our happy ice cream..

Then I saw this.............

NOT EVEN A HALF CUP SUNDAE!!! WTF!

So cheating lor McDonalds..... EMO emo Emo..

I know it's my fault that I didn't check, but wtf!! how can you cheat small kid!? (my brother not me)

So Not Lovin' It.

.............................................................................

Yesterday, my mum and I brought Wackidee (my ride) to change his wheels (yes its a boy)..

Wackidee's four wheels was balding! lol so change to Michelin wheels.. Hopefully Wackidee loves his new Michelle Lin wheels.. hehe

Not even a year, Wackidee have to change wheels already! Poor thing!! Must be the way I drive you nuts! haha

Mum was nagging also.. "Please take care of your 21st birthday present! Appreciate it!!"

I am appreciating it lor.. How you want me to show it??

This reminds me of my mum back when I was still in high school.. She would always be saying how come she never see me studying? I think she expects me to take out my Sejarah text book and read it in front of her..... grr..

But yea lah, I don't think I ever open my Sejarah text book also.. Maybe during class to hide from the teacher to sleep behind the text book..

-.-"

♥ Hong Kong

I lovee Hong Kong! And I think one of the many reasons why I love HK is because I love watching their TVB Dramas cos damn drama haha, and I get very excited in HK whenever I see something familiar that I watched in TVB drama too haha

Names like Tsim Tsa Tsui, Kowloon, Mong Kok, Lan Kwai Fong, Siu Fong Yuen, Keng Chat, E.U, gets me excited too! haha I was always holding the camera to snap everything I think its interesting.. End up snap rubbish pictures also like car number plates or whatsoever..

Everytime when I watch TVB's Police Force shows or the fireman shows (Burning Flame), I feel like wanna be part of them haha but like Alwinyu say, "Open the door also no strength!" I guess that will only be in my fantasy dream job haha

I took a picture with a police in HK! hehe and just like in TVB drama, there are usually two police walking down the street, one senior and junior. When we asked if we could take a picture with him, the junior looks at his senior and the senior gave the green light! hehe

Damn touristy jakuness.. haha

My main mode of transportation in HK was my poor short legs.. sobs. I would never walk like that in Malaysia but I walk like hell in HK.. UNDER THE RAIN AND SUN! wtf..

At Centralat Big Buddha (can you see the heavy raindrops??)

While visiting the Big Buddha, we were just blindly walking around and take pictures of the statues not knowing what are we actually taking or what does it mean.. Luckily there was a bunch of guai lous and guai pohs who have tour guides to explain to them.. So i eavesdrop hehe

After visiting Big Buddha, we straight went to The Peak for Wax Museum.. No time to change and had to go with bad hair and wet clothes sobs

Met alot of "famous" people.. Andy Lau, Michael Jackson, Ayumi Hamasaki..

I was so happy to meet JayChou but... Jay Chou don't look like Jay Chou... so dissapointing..

Ocean Park was awesome! Had alot of fun there~

I love the dolphins! So smart and entertaining! The pandas are so adorable!

The rides in Ocean Park were great too! I remember after having our lunch in Ocean Park, we straight went for a roller coaster ride! 360 degrees and my food nearly came out from my mouth!

Next visit was the Symphony of Lights!

So B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!!! How I wish I brought the DSLR.... No words can describe how pretty sight it was.. I can just sleep on the street and stare at the magnificent sight of it all night...

Our visit at Wong Tai Sin temple.. My nose was sooo sensitive! Kept sneezing and nose itchy because everyone was walking around with the incense sticks.. No offence but my nose is just THAT sensitive..

More photos in Facebook hehe too lazy to talk about it again.. Until today, I can still feel the tiredness from Hong Kong! and yay to the longgg weeeek holiday! Time to hibernate all week long!

♥ I'm Back..!

I survived the level 8 typhoon in HK and Macau, and now home sweet home! We even stand outside the hotel to play with the wind haha the wind was so strong it could blow me away!

When I was watching news in the hotel room, they kept reporting about the typhoon.. Trees (including the roots!!) were pulled out due to the wind, someone died because the wind blew her away to the sea and found her dead body -.-, and hanging advertisements were removed by brave and handsome firemen to prevent it from falling and dropping on to innocent people.

Overall, i LOVE Hong Kong and LIKE Macau.. hehe

Gonna blog about Macau first!

When I was in Macau, it was raining most of the time.. boo hoo.. not to mention, windy too!
When you look up in the sky, you can see the clouds are moving super fast!

Once we reach Macau, all we see were beautiful buildings and they are all hotels and casinos. For a minute, I thought we were in Las Vegas till I saw a bunch of small eyes men and not blonde and blue eyes one..

One of the many casinos I visited was Hard Rock Casino..

The casino is new therefore everything looks damn new lol obviously we are not allowed to take photos in the casino, so no photos of inside the casino.

Next casino we went was The Venetian.. I curi-curi took a photo in this casino hehe

The Venetian was super bigg and the design was stunning!

The next day, we went to St Paul! My main purpose in Macau was to visit St Paul but it had to rain...

Still a nice place to visit and snap snap pictures!

Went to visit church and more casinos! In Macau it was all just casinos haha

Another casino I went was the Wynn..

This was the ONLY casino that stopped me and asked,"How old are you?" Before I get to show the guard my passport, he let me go hehe not that I'm not allowed to go in but maybe he decided the innocent me would not dare to go in if I am underage..

More photos of Macau in Facebook! Made it like a photo journal as well.. Go check it out hehe

Next post : HONG KONG!!

♥ Sa Wa Dee Kap

I wanna go Bangkok!! Have not been there and I heard it is a shopping haven.. Which girl would not wanna go there... According to Alwin's buddies, I will make a conclusion that Bangkok is a haven for the girls and the boys!

Girls = Shopping

Boys = Strip Shows (girls)

I'm not sure why they wanna see those chicks there.. It's like chicks with dicks.. eww.
Anyway, Alwin and I went to imaginery Bangkok (Pyramid) to eat at Thai Thai for our 35th..

I like the chandelier..

The food was awesome (:

Alwin ordered Pineapple Fried Rice.. The rice was soft and not too sweet.

I ordered Thai Green Curry.. Yummy and very brave of me! I cannot eat spicy and Thai Green Curry are usually not very spicy but this one was!

Luckily I had my Mango Mama Smoothies! slurppps!

Alwin was confused.. He didn't know what to drink so I suggested Thai Thai Fruit Punch! (:

I think the food was SOOO awesome, Alwin ordered dessert! Chestnut something something..

Satisfying meal!

Love their deco too!

One day, I will conquer Thailand and conquer the original Thai Green Curry there! Just need lots of Mango Mama Smoothies (:

♥ Dad's "35th" Birthday

My dad's young huh when I'm already 21 hahahaha well if you're smart enough you will know his real age..

Celebrated his birthday at Imperial China, ss17. When we were there the whole restaurant was empty! And you have 10 over waiter and waitresses serving you! Awesome~

We had to wait nearly an hour for everyone to arrive! What to do, Malaysian timing. And my mum insisted we waited for everyone to arrive then we will eat together.. even if her daughter only ate one miserable EGG TART for the whole day...

My little cousin had to do her homework WHILE eating her dinner! Apparently, Chinese school students are 2x hardworking.. hmm, how come I don't see my brother was ever hardworking before? The only hardworking he did was Dota. wtf

Food was not bad.. and I loveeeee Shark fin soup.. That's like the best soup everr~ So don't come and tell me we are suppose to protect the sharks and I am evil for eating them.. I'm Chinese and we Chinese lovee our Shark fin soup. Period.

Mum spend us all dinner whee~ That was because dad was grumbling saying any of our birthdays he got to spend us dinner and ON his birthday he have to spend us dinner as well haha so mum decided to spend us! That's because she's in good mood as well..

L.O.V.E family dinners because I get to eat good and yummy food without worrying the bill! haha!

Ta!

♥ Don't Break My Heart

I have many smoker friends. I still don't understand why they can still smoke with the new sticker sticking on the cigarette box warning them what are the consequences of smoking.

Or maybe some just ignore it and avoid looking at the packaging, like Carissa Koh. Buying the cigarette then transfering it to another box.

I believe you can stop smoking if you want to. Yea, some might say 'What Do I Know' since I'm not a smoker myself, but I have seen many people successfully quit smoking. It might be difficult, but have you tried?

Worse is when you see them smoking like 10 sticks a day or the whole packet of cigarette as if they are eating Rocky Strawberry.

Or to a certain individual who tells his girlfriend he will smoke 5 sticks or less a day, but he didn't. No point lying to anyone because end up you're only lying to yourself.

Watch this clip, smokers.

No more kissies if your lips turn out like the one in the clip. sigh.

Worse is when your love ones are smoking like chimney in front of you without them realizing how much it breaks your heart.

♥ Exskyted

Today is the worst day of my life. I seriously hate today. Now I know hard work does not necessarily fucking pay off. It can all go down the drain in just a blink of an eye. All I can say is I am born stupid. Fuck this shit.

OK.

Back to some happier stuff, Exskyted..

Last weekend the gang invited me to the forest where the fun never ends.. It's fun alright but it comes with a price as well.. Came back with my whole body aching! I'm talking about Skytrex Adventure at Taman Pertanian Malaysia, Shah Alam.

Before we started we had to sign a piece of paper which is an agreement where we would not sue them if we die or something haha then we had to put on the harness..

After we were all geared up, we had to listen to some briefing. He taught us how to hook those hooks on the harness to the ropes for the obstacles we are going to face.. Because when you're up there, you're all by yourself. Nobody is going to watch over you, so if you hook wrongly, then say your last words to the monkeys and trees and fall gracefully to the ground when you are falling 23 metres high.

It was a bit confusing at first to learn how to hook, but when you're doing it for more than 3 times, you'll get the hang of it. The guy who was briefing us even shared a story with us about a woman who panic when she was doing the Flying Fox and she was turning 360 degrees. She panicked, so she put her hands on TOP of the hooks, her fingers were like swelled up and sort of dislocated. 0.0

After the disgusting story, we were asked to try out on the training ground.. Not very high, if you are at a normal height, you probably can touch the ground with your feet. But if you're at my height, sorry the grounds seems very far from your feet...

After training, it's time to move on to the real stuff.

Once you climb this stairs up which is 23 metres high, there is no turning back. You can't u-turn, or give up. It was damn high and tiring to climb up. Once you're up there, you got to hook yourself up and flyingggg fox to the other platform at the other end of the tree. Then climb up AGAIN, hook yourself up again, and flyingggg fox again..

I didn't manage to take many photos while doing the obstacles because it's damn tiring and once you get the chance to rest, you REALLY wanna rest!

walking on shaking wooden planks..

walking on one line rope..

Once you are done with the last obstacle, you'll be praying for a super cold 100 plus.

That's pretty much the whole trip.. Overall tiring but fun.. But definitely not for the faint heart and those who are afraid of heights!

p.s//Veron, when we doing it?? (:
