♥ Don't Stop Believin'

The title has nothing to do with my post. Am just listening to the song from the Glee Cast. If you don't know, I'm glee-fied!! Loveee that showww!

It's the last day of February.

Feeling a lot better now from the last week crazy flu. Now I have to just deal with my cough and sorethroat.

This was suppose to be here two months ago.. But was too busy to write about it. The gang decided to go for a waterfall trip. It was a good trip because of the heat wave we are going through now! Time to chill down the falls..

The waterfalls were... BIG and scary..

So we went somewhere where the water are a bit more well behaved. I tried very hard remembering this place's name but it's two months later already so it's totally forgotten.

Two months later = Two years later for my limited memory space.

Nothing much to talk about the trip cos it's already old news. Lazy to talk about it. haha

Chinese New Year came and went. Today is the last day of CNY! And the moon outside was awesome. Yellowish and orangey and so round..

The best part of Chinese New Year was the cookies, ang paus, and lion dance! I love to watch lion dance. Exciting and it looks so real the way they mimic the lion. Eyes blinking, tails swinging.

I think the second or third day of CNY my family and I went to Pavilion to watch the lion dance.

My mum love to decorate the house when it comes to CNY.

The lanterns are a bit scary. Plus it's so red. haha She was so afraid the next morning Hiro would just eat the lanterns. But Hiro's been a good boy recently. Maybe he is maturing already. *teary eyed* This coming July would be his 3 years old birthday. Still very playful and I guess he does not like CNY due to the overwhelming fireworks. Fireworks this year was crazy. I can see Hiro was panicking and didn't know what to do. No balls.

This fake pink flower plant where my mum DIY it a bit. She took some twigs from outside garden and decorated it with ornaments.

Ang pau this year was not as much as last year or when I was even younger. Some relatives came but did not give ang pau also.. Not that I mind. Maybe they forgot or something -.- And some cousins that I've not been seeing for years are all so grown up. I don' think I would recognize them if I met them on the streets. Little cousin babies that I used to see are now driving and as young as 16 year old bringing his girlfriend to the family dinner. Obviously the aunties and uncles are not impress but nobody said a word.

That's all for CNY. Midterms are here. Sigh. Got to study really really hard this semester. I don't want to fail ANY subjects at all. I wanna finish it this year and get done with it. College is really a pain in the ass. Now with the new cafeteria moved to the basement wtf. I totally agree with Jesslyn saying it looks like a factory's canteen.

Loads of studying to get back.

♥ Not Really Here Yet

Not blogging for more than two weeks already! So lazy! So many things to talk about!

However, this is another really short post because I have no time now as Midterms are next week, assignments are piling up, quizzes are coming, and not to mention falling sick does not help a single bit here in my situation!

Grr.

Hate to fall sick! I wanna be as strong as Monnie because she NEVER fall sick wtf

And I wanna sleep so bad. Have not been sleeping for daysssss. Last Sunday I got on my bed at 11pm wanting to sleep! Then when the clock strikes 12 midnight, fking a lot of fireworks going on. Boom boom bang bang. UNTIL 130 still fireworking. wtf it's some Hokkien CNY thingy but how come the fireworks is even longer than New Year's Day?

Then I have this burst pipe on my nose. Keep leaking. Need a plumber.

♥ My Trip To The Supermarket

Last Monday, mum asked me to go grocery shoppingfor her for the coming Chinese New Year. Not wanting to drive all the way down to Subang's Giant, mum asked me to go to the nearby Econsave around my area.

I've been staying here for the past two years and I still get lost in this place...

Called mum in the morning to ask her for directions and for the first time in my life, my mum talked to me damn polite and SOFT ok. (cos she was in a meeting wtf) Mum don't really know either but she just keep telling me to GO STRAIGHT. wtf

So I brought grandma to come along. Somehow after 15 minutes we are still in the car, driving around housing areas and roundabouts. I could not find Econsave. I could see signboards to Econsave and all but when I follow it's either towards dead end roads or factories. Not Econsave.

Grandma getting impatient and kept asking me where am I bringing her... I don't even know where I'm going. -.-

Called my cousin who is staying nearby for help, she did not pick up her phone. So called Jesslyn for help! She passed the phone to her bf, Ryan for help. haha Ryan kept asking exactly where am I, but I really don't know.. All I know was I am being surrounded in housing areas and factories. I think it's already been nearly more than 30 minutes looking around for that place.

While Ryan was giving me directions, I saw a poster hanging on the street lamp post.

"Carrefour sudah dibuka"

YES. Awesome.. Told Ryan it's ok. Plan B to Carrefour! And he laughed at me. Don't know how to go to Econsave and don't even know Carrefour is open. Sometimes I wonder do I even live here..?

Love grocery shopping so I can see colourful and bad for your health food! (:

And damn boring when it comes to buying meat. Obviously my grandma buys them. I thought she would know what meat is what meat when she sees them but she asked me what meat is this?

Looks like bloooooooood meat to me.

♥ Dear John

A shirtless Channing Tatum. Guys would be turned ON as well.

Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried are starring in the new movie "Dear John". And it's gonna have a LOT of shirtless scene! (by Channing of course)

In my opinion, it's those typical romantic movie where girls will go googoogaga over every love or romantic scene in the movie hehe and they will ask their boyfriend who is sitting next to them why is he not doing any of those moves from the movie. And those who are single will be wanting to have that kind of guy, or more precisely, a Channing Tatum would be good. Package you know.

Ok, Dear John is about John (Channing Tatum) a young soldier who is home on leave, and Savannah (Amanda Seyfried) is a college student who falls in love with John during a spring vacation. Then he had to continue his duties as a soldier and they started sending letters to keep them together.

A lot of people are saying this movie got the "The Notebook" style because it's written by the same author, Nicholas Spark.

If you are a girl, WATCH THE TRAILER THEN THE MOVIE! hahaha

♥ Smile Shiba Smile

I thought a dog panting, ears down, or wagging it's tail indicates that he is happy. At least for my Hiro.

Not until I met this dog.

Wikipedia it and found out that this breed is called the Shiba Inu. Inu is the Japanese word for dog. However they are not clear on what does the Shiba means.

Shiba Inu is the smallest of the six original and distinct breed of dogs in Japan.

It does look a bit Asian right this dog?

What I got to know about this dog's temperament was it is way WORSE than a Rottweiler or a Doberman. wtf. However they are also well known for their independence and intelligence.

And I quote this from Wikipedia, "Shibas should always be on leash, unless in a secured area because of their strong prey drive." Scary.

But of course (for any dogs) with proper socialization when its young at age, it should not be a problem.

Despite reading quite a bad review about this dog, I cannot stop repeating this video!

FUCKING CUTE CAN DIE!

Wouldn't it be nice to come home to see your Shiba smiling at you!? It would totally make my day no matter how horrible the day was! So much better than someone greeting you like he's dying all the time and as if doom's day is tomorrow. Pathetic.

But how come I don't see any pet shops selling Shibas? hmmm.

♥ How To Detect Lies

I'm sure many of us hate it when people lie to us. I know I do. I prefer they come up to me and tell me the truth. I'm more forgiving like that rather than I find it out myself. When I find out, it's 2012 then.

Found this website where they teach us How To Detect Lies.

One of the many ways to detect someone who is faking a smile. hahaha to be honest, I tend to do the fake smile a lot. Not because I am lying, but to entertain people I don't like. -.- That goes back to lying, isn't it? Gulp.

Let me share some that I found from the website.

Interactions & Reactions

A liar is uncomfortable facing his questioner/accuser and may turn his head or body away. (Very obvious rightt...?)

A liar might unconsciously place objects (book, coffee, cup, etc) between themselves and you. (So true!! Someone lied to me before using this tactic!)

A liar will use your words to make answer a question. When asked, “Did you eat the last cookie?” The liar answers, “No, I did not eat the last cookie.” (Must be too scared, that's why repeating it)

Liars sometimes avoid "lying" by not making direct statements. They imply answers instead of denying something directly. (Trying to get away...)

The guilty person may speak more than natural, adding unnecessary details to convince you... they are not comfortable with silence or pauses in the conversation. (Crapping bullshits.. not very entertaining)

What if the liar is awesomely good at lying? Maybe he read about How to detect lies and totally doing the opposite? hahaha especially those cheating boyfriend said they are sleeping at home because they are "VERY TIRED" from work but actually clubbing hardcore with his buddies...

Check out Lady Gaga's heels during Grammys.

How to walk in those heels?! Only Gaga can do it I guess.

She's always up to something with her outfits and although I think it's a bit weird, I cannot wait to see what she's wearing all the time. This is what you call PR skills you know. Keeping people excited and wanting to see what you would be doing to surprise us next, then we can all talk about you, you, and you.

Lady Gaga can wear something colourful and robotic. Still look awesome.
